1) Curved Built-In Option - Fireplace Wall:
-More traditional to fit with the style of your home's exterior and your kitchen
-While I still highly recommend bringing the fireplace forward, this style can go either way
-Lower portion of built-ins with doors is kept low at 18" high so as not to compete with the fireplace or tv wall cabinets
- I still recommend the fireplace section be all one material, so as not to break the small wall into another section. In this elevation, I'm still recommending painted drywall which creates a more cohesive look for the other three walls in the room, as well as the dining room walls
-Shelves can be stained or painted white
-Shelves are just 10" deep
- Mantel is stained wood
-Round knobs repeat the curve of the arches
-Crown runs across top and around room
TV Wall:
-36" base cabinet/countertop height
-Upper glass cabinet doors are arched
-Round knobs repeat the curve of the arches
-Crown runs across top (along the wall above the television) and around room
-Cabinets are just 12-15" deep
2) Linear Built-In Option - Fireplace Wall:
-Includes traditional elements to fit with the style of your home's exterior and your kitchen while mixing a touch of modern for interest and to appeal to future buyers
-While I still highly recommend bringing the fireplace forward, this style can go either way
-Key design element is the contract of clean squares on each side of the natural stone and more farmhouse-style mantle
-Lower portion of built-ins with doors is 24"
-I still recommend the fireplace section be all one material, so as not to break the small wall into another section. In this elevation, I've shown the option of a light stone veneer
-Shelves can be stained or painted white
-Shelves are just 10" deep
-Mantel is stained wood, and thicker than the other option
-Long, linear pulls repeat the long, lines of the shelving units
TV Wall:
-36" base cabinet/countertop height
-Upper glass cabinet doors mimic the geometry of the fireplace shelves
-A horizontal shelf "box" connects the two shelving units
-Long, linear pulls repeat the long, lines of the shelving units
-Cabinets are just 12-15" deep
